Contact Cement, Latex Gel (CAP-95)
An advanced, non-flammable contact cement that bonds instantly to eliminate the need for clamping. This safe, innovative neoprene latex formula won't drip, has no unpleasant odor and offers easy water cleanup. This adhesive is freeze/thaw stable, with the strength, water- and heat-resistance of a traditional, solvent-based contact cement.

Surface Preparation
Make sure that all surfaces being bonded are clean, dry, structurally sound and free of any dust, loose paint or previous finishes. Both contact cement and material being bonded should be kept at room temperature for 24 hours prior to use. Apply CAP-95 between 40° F (5° C) and 100° F (40° C).
Product Application
Stir product before use. Apply two liberal, even coats of cement to both surfaces to be bonded using a brush or roller. On plywood and extremely porous surfaces, additional coats may need to be applied after the first two have dried. Allow both surfaces to dry before bonding (20 to 30 minutes under normal temperature and humidity conditions). A uniform glossy appearance of adhesive upon drying indicates enough thickness. If bond is not completed within two hours and surface becomes too dry, recoat both surfaces and allow to dry again.
Note
Position coated surfaces carefully before contacting. NO SHIFTING IS POSSIBLE ONCE CONTACT IS MADE. Immediately apply firm pressure over the entire surface. Work from the center out towards the edges using a 3" wide rubber roller or a block of wood with a hammer or a mallet. Trimming and finishing can be started immediately after bonding.
Drying Time
Drying time is 20 to 30 minutes. Surfaces should be joined within 2 hours of application. Bonds instantly on contact.
Cleanup
Excess wet adhesive can be removed with soapy water. Dried adhesive can be cleaned up with mineral spirits.
