Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, dirt, grease and structurally sound. When used on porous substrates such as unpainted plaster, drywall and concrete, the surface must be sealed with a high-quality primer. If surface has been painted, it should be scratched with coarse sandpaper before adhesive is applied. On non-porous substrates such as glass, tile or metal, bond coating is not necessary.

Product Application

Cut and pre-fit materials prior to installation. Cut nozzle to desired size (marked on nozzle). Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. For best results, apply adhesive to back of mirror in globs 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.6 cm) in diameter for every square foot of mirror. Press mirror firmly into place, ensuring good contact with substrate, within 10 minutes of application. Do not remove mirror once in place. A support system such as permanent J channels or L hangers must be used. Mirror adhesive will cure to 60% strength in 48 hours at normal room temperature. Full cure will depend on temperature, humidity and amount of air that can reach adhesive. Do not seal mirror edges until adhesive is fully cured.

Drying Time

dries to 60% strength in 24 hours. Fully cured in one week.

Cleanup

Use mineral spirits.
